This project highlights my ability to design a branded, intuitive product experience. One that not only looks appealing, but also supports real decision-making for users.

The goal was to redesign Brit’s website and create a digital product guide that helps pet owners navigate a large portfolio and quickly identify the most suitable food for their pets.

Challenge

The challenge was to combine brand storytelling with e-commerce logic and usability — all while keeping the visual identity playful, trustworthy, and easy to navigate.

My role

As the UI/UX designer, I was responsible for designing the product guide structure and navigation, creating a visual style that balanced trustworthiness with playfulness, and prototyping interactions while testing the usability of the concept.

Challenge

Brit offers a wide range of pet food tailored to breeds, health conditions, and lifestyles — but the existing website struggled to guide users to the right product without creating confusion or frustration.

The design challenge was to simplify this complexity into a clear and supportive product guide, where pet owners could quickly find what their pets need. At the same time, it was essential to keep the visual and interaction design aligned with Brit’s trustworthy yet playful brand identity.

Process

I began by mapping content and structure, collaborating with the team to define key user flows and identify points where pet owners typically hesitate in their decision-making. To address this, I designed a step-by-step product guide that filtered options by pet type, age, size, dietary needs, and preferences — resulting in clear, personalized recommendations.

From a UI perspective, I created a visual system that felt both fresh and trustworthy: soft colors, friendly typography, and a clear layout that reinforced confidence while keeping the playful character associated with pets.

Overview

The redesigned website introduced a clearer navigation structure and a guided product experience that helps pet owners quickly identify the right food for their pets.

Each product line was structured with highlighted benefits, making comparisons straightforward and reducing decision fatigue. A modular layout was implemented to support future content growth, while the new visual design balanced playfulness and trustworthiness — reflecting Brit’s identity as both approachable and expert. This combination ensured the site felt welcoming for new visitors and reliable for returning customers, strengthening both usability and brand perception.

Conclusion

This project demonstrated how thoughtful design can support both user needs and brand goals — turning a complex product portfolio into a guided, confidence-building experience.

The new Brit concept doesn’t just present food options; it provides clarity, trust, and guidance in just a few clicks. By combining playful visuals with a structured flow, the solution reinforced Brit’s credibility while making product selection effortless for pet owners.

For me, this project underlined the importance of balancing brand storytelling with usability. It showed how design can create not only functional solutions, but also an emotional connection that builds long-term customer loyalty.
